On this tour you will visit Acanceh, a small Mayan town where a pyramid and a church stand next to each other. The Pyramid is unique as it has two big masks on all sides of the top of it. It is nice to stroll around the market of Acanceh, try some local food and see the daily life of the villagers.
Next to visit is Mayapan, a Pre-Columbian Maya site, located south of the town of Telchaquillo, approximately 40 km south-east of Mérida. Mayapan was the political and cultural capital of the Mayans in the Yucatán Peninsula during the Late Post-Classic period from the 1220s until the 1440s. On this site it will be possible to climb the main caste and have a terrific view over the surrounding.
After a wonderful cultural experience the tour will take you to one of the excellent underground cenotes of Tecoh where you will be able to take a magical swim.
This tour goes all days.
Minimum number of passengers on the tour is 2.
