Located 80 kilometer east of Merida, Celestun is a small fishing port with beaches, crystalline waters and an ecological reserve.

The tour will start in Celestun National Park. We will go with small powered boats that let us explore the mangroves, the bird island, and the Valeosera and Quinitun lagoons. White tail deer, armadillos, crocodiles, small wildcats, wild turkey, ducks and an infinite number of other birds inhabit the reserve.

What we will see are flamingos, an “Ojo de Agua”, or underwater cenote, where you can swim, mangrove and birds and maybe some alligator.

After the boat tour there is time to have lunch and to spend on the beach.

This tour goes all day.
