If you are just a little familiar with the spirits of Mexico, Tequila and Mezcal and you would like to know more and taste some good ones in a less formal, yet interesting way this tasting is made for you.

The tasting will start at 6 pm at Merida Santiago hotel boutique and will last about 2 hours.

In the short introduction we will give you some information about history, regions, difference between Tequila and Mezcal. The tasting will start with in total 4 small high quality shots of Tequila and you will be able to understand and taste the difference between them.

After the tequila tasting we will prepare a small cocktail with tequila and having a small gourmet snack, prepared by the chef of Merida Santiago hotel boutique.

After a short break, we will start the Mezcal tasting. In total we will taste 4 small shots of high quality mezcales and explain the difference between them. Some of the Mezcales will be quite unique prepared in Artesanal and Ancestral way.

After the enjoyment of Mezcal, a signature cocktail with Mezcal will be perfectly paired with a small gourmet snack. 

The end of this wonderful afternoon full of flavors, fragrances and taste will be around 9 pm.

For the ones who are starting to be hungry or like to order another drink, there is a possibility to have dinner in the atmospheric Merida Santiago hotel boutique restaurant which is normally only open for guests.

We think the Sharing Traditions – Tequila and Mezcal tasting is  one of the most amazing things to do in Merida!
